Online Shopping is a one-stop gift shop and lifestyle store offering a wide range of products. In addition to operating as a traditional family-owned newsagency selling newspapers, magazines, greeting cards, and Tattslotto, the store also provides an extensive collection of gifts, homewares, and high-quality, relaxed clothing and shoes. The store prides itself on beautifully curated merchandise within its large retail location in Sunbury.

Objective

The gift and gadget store offers a vast selection of gifts, gadgets, toys, games, and branded merchandise. However, due to the nature of the business, achieving high returns on investment (ROI) was crucial. The store needed to maintain a revenue target up to 10x the ad spend while ensuring continuous growth in sales without compromising ROI.

Additionally, while brand awareness is a critical component of marketing, it alone does not drive sales. Increasing engagement and compelling customers to act were necessary steps to turn visibility into conversions. The challenge lay in achieving these objectives while optimizing the advertising budget and ensuring every dollar spent contributed to revenue growth.

The Challenges

As the digital marketing partner, 247 Digital Marketing implemented a structured approach to maximize ROI while maintaining cost efficiency. We do With the store’s low average order value (AOV), it was essential to minimize cost-per-click (CPC). We structured over 4,000 products into individual ad groups to ensure only the most relevant search queries triggered ads, improving conversion rates. By targeting high-intent searches, we ensured visibility for top-performing products. This selective approach enabled us to drive more qualified traffic while maintaining strict ROI goals. We implemented separate campaigns to cater to seasonal peaks while expanding visibility to broader but relevant audiences. This helped the store capitalize on high-demand periods without compromising profitability. To enhance customer engagement, we leveraged gifting campaigns that resonated with the target audience. By integrating personalized marketing strategies, we successfully increased customer acquisition while maintaining a cost-effective approach.
